I know this might be a silly Q....but what does it actually cost to get in? I did not see any $$ on the ticket that I printed?

This year we have a few less spots for volunteers, even though the size of the space has increased by 10,000 square feet. Primarily just a few people to help with the speakers, the V.I.C. Lounge, and sit at the Chocolate Meetup table and talk about the Chocolate Meetup.

I would like to volunteer, I'm just looking to help out. Also I guess I would to know more about cooking. Not very creative and would like ideas. Anyways, please let me know how to volunteer and who to contact?

How awesome. How do we volunteer? I might do it. I am going to school for baking and pastries, but also really want to learn about the fine art of chocolate making! This might be a good oportunity. I just want to make sure I can eat a lot of chocolates too. I am very enthusiastic when it comes to the subject of chocolate.. :)

I loved it. I hope it returns to Pasadena, or even better to the Los Angeles Convention center, it would be closer.

The selection of chocolates to sample was fantastic! However, the nine in our group were all in agreement that the layout of the room and offerings were too static. Perhaps group the tables by types of chocolates, for example: organic, free trade, international, local, etc. Then, have presentations in EACH area on how chocolates are made, using chocolate in cooking, drinks, information on ingredients and regions, etc. Live music would have been wonderful as well. The room on the side used as the V.I.C. room would have been better utilized for the seminar presentations with people coming in given the drink samples to enjoy while watching the seminar(s) and the companies offering the seminars thanked at the beginning and end of the seminars or perhaps projected using power point presentations. Basically, too much chocolate too fast with no other reason to slow down, pause, and enjoy other things at the event. Felt like a trade show instead of a LUXURY Salon. Great chocolate!
    •  I was unable to find the Meet Up group people. I was at the venue at 12:55 PM; we were supposed to meet at 1 PM, and I did not see anybody posting a sign or saying they were from the Meet Up group. I just started walking around by myself, after waiting around the entrance for about 15 minutes. I asked about ten random people if they were from the meetup , but no one was. Where were you guys?!!
    •  I enjoyed the demonstrations, chocolate vendors and the chocolate martinis! Great event.
    •  I got a chocolate hangover. The event was okay. But there was no organizer that I could see that was identified as a meetup person. So basically I was at the event alone, though there were a lot of other people there.
    •  I have no idea how many people attended as I was there for a couple of hours and the event lasted for seven hours. It was very crowded while I was there, I'd say there were a few hundred people in the room. I had a great time at the chocolate salon, but didn't run into anyone from the group as I had no idea how to find them.

Had a great time! Several great booths with tasty truffles and chocolate products - many samples, loads of information and overall a great time! Glad I went!
